Medication – other concerns

I worry about the cocktail of drugs I take – because I have several things wrong with me and have separate medicine for each of these

This will be checked by both your GP and hospital doctors and will ensure no alterations are needed.

What should I do if I miss a dose of a drug – say an antibiotic for a chest infection?

It is important to take the full course of antibiotics as prescribed.  Try to avoid gaps – and get back into the normal routine as soon as possible.  Don’t take a double dose of antibiotics because you have missed a previous dose.

Often I feel better on my regular medication – and feel able therefore to stop it.

A bad idea.  Only stop under instructions from your GP or Clinic doctor.  Follow your treatment plan to the letter.
